Your 2017 Conference and Lobby Day will be held September 10th-12th in Washington, DC. This will be a pivotal time for our movement, as Congress is expected to be voting on the next year’s budget at the end of the September, so we will be doing a full court press to push for the inclusion and approval of the Rohrabacher-Blumenauer and McClintock-Polis amendments.

For Sunday Sept 10th, there will be a welcoming reception and social in the evening. Monday the 11th will be a full day of informative panels and speakers addressing the many facets of our work to reform the nation’s marijuana laws at the Capital Hilton in Downtown DC (1001 16th St NW — Just two blocks north of the White House and a short walk from the Farragut North Red Line Metro or Farragut West Blue/Orange/Silver Line metro for those who might seek hotels in other areas of the city for accommodations).

On Tuesday, we will start the day down on the hill, with a morning meet-up featuring a few of our notable congressional allies. From there we will break and go lobby our individual elected officials for most of the day before we meet up to celebrate and trade stories at the closing happy hour.

More details including how to register, panel topics, and suggested speakers will be forthcoming.

Look forward to seeing many of you in DC this Fall.

Onward,

Erik Altieri

NORML Executive Director
