About Us

Denver NORML was founded in 2015. Since the start of legalization in Colorado it has been a very exciting time for us to be alive, but it does not mean we have perfected all the laws and regulations that are part of legalization. We are committed to addressing these issues for the marijuana community in the great city of Denver.

Our current issues include:

  1. Social consumption
  2. Providing education for safe and sustainable home cultivation

Consumers are focused on their need for social use. Marijuana in Denver is legal for purchase but with limited options for consumption. We continue the search for increased access to affordable marijuana by fighting for lower taxes. Then there are the technical growing challenges of mold, contaminants, microbes, and pesticides in a largely unregulated industry. There is still work to be done in the realm of consumer safety but we are extremely satisfied with the position the city has taken so far on pesticides. We must keep the marijuana dialogue open, evolving, and always moving in a positive direction.
